One particularly impressive sight is Schloss Schönbrunn. The Schönbrunn Palace was the summer residence of the Austrian Empress Sissi. A visit to the Schönbrunn Palace is recommended in any case, since you can visit the numerous apartment of the royal family. The impressive landscaped gardens with spacious beds and its many fountains are worth seeing. Being in Vienna it is also a must to go to the Prater with its huge Ferris wheel. St. Stephen’s Cathedral is a very impressive and often visited exit point.
Both in the past and even today, Vienna is known for its excellent cuisine, as well as the many coffee houses. There you will find culinary highlights such as Mozartkugeln or Sacher cakes.
